Creating your made to measure couture

Latin competition piece hand decorated with sequins and Swarovski crystals

Step 1:- Complimentary Consultation

The design consultation is your opportunity to tell us all about your bespoke needs.

  • We will carefully listen to your likes and dislikes and any style or colour preferences or designs you have in mind.

  • We will offer our expert advice on what we believe will both suit you and meet your objectives.

  • Our recommendations include the best styles and designs for your body shape and height, skin tone and undertone, hair and eye colour.

  • We can create ideas from scratch or work with you on your design ideas.

  • During the consultation we will discuss fabrics and decorations, as well as taking your measurements to ensure your custom piece fits perfectly.

  • Finally we will sketch a first draft design and agree this and next steps with you.

  • Whether it's a special occasion dress, or a stand-out Latin or Ballroom competition piece, our original made to measure couture is carefully crafted to make you feel and look absolutely wonderful.

Please note for best results we ask you come into our London studio for consultations and fittings. However, we can come to you or do video consultations by prior arrangement.

We also offer our international clients a remote service and can come to you by prior arrangement and subject to fees and availability.

Please ask for details.

Step 2: Making a Prototype & First Fitting

  • Once you have agreed your design, and are ready to move on to the creation stage, we ask for a 50% deposit to confirm the order and work will then begin.

  • Please note the deposit is non-refundable as bespoke made to measure couture is an involved and intricate process, and once work begins, costs will be incurred).

  • Following order confirmation, we will create a garment prototype and once this is completed, we will invite you in for a first fitting.

  • During this first fitting we will agree any minor sizing or detail alterations and the final design.

  • When you are happy the prototype is heading in the right direction, we will begin tailoring the actual garment.

Please note we offer remote fittings  for London and UK clients subject to availability and fees.  A remote service is also available for international clients subject to conditions - please ask for details.

Step 3:- Second Fitting

  • When your garment is ready for fitting, we will invite you in to our London studios to try it on for the first time.

  • During this session we will ensure the made to measure fit is how it should be and we will agree any further tailoring required.

  • We will also agree the final decorative details and any hand finishing needed.

  • If necessary we will organise a brief follow up fitting.

  • After this final fitting, we will begin to add the finishing touches.

Step 4:- Decoration

  • We start the hand finishing and decoration of your special garment following your final fitting.

  • Decorative materials can include fringes, feathers, sequins, beads and crystals.

  • We use Swarovski crystals only, to give you the ultimate sparkle impact, and each crystal is applied by hand.

  • Once your garment has been fully decorated, we will let you know and arrange collection.

Step 5:- Ready to collect!

  • Your beautiful Dance Couture London piece is ready to collect!

  • Following decoration, we will invite you in for a final try-on and at this point we ask for any outstanding payment to be made.

  • Your bespoke garment is now all yours to enjoy!
